The idea of making your site accessible is daunting, I know. I’m here to tell you that it’s not as hard as you think. It will be harder to bolt on accessibility to existing pages, but as you update your designs, templates, pages, etc. it will get easier.
Armed with an understanding of the concepts underlying web accessibility, and some great online resources, you can tackle any common accessibility issues. I’m assuming that you have written your own HTML, or know some HTML. It’s not absolutely necessary to know HTML in order to benefit from this information, but it will help quite a bit.
This site is a work in progress, so please bear with me for now. Likely some of this content will change, for instance this paragraph will very probably be deleted and replaced with something more to the point.
